IFS Cloud Cable Car
The Emirates Air Line is a cable car attraction in London that crosses the River Thames, connecting the Greenwich Peninsula on the south bank of the river with the Royal Docks on the north bank. The cable car was built in 2012 and is owned and operated by Transport for London (TfL), the city’s public transportation authority.
The Emirates Air Line offers a unique perspective of the city, providing breathtaking views of the Thames, the O2 Arena, the Canary Wharf business district, and the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. The journey takes approximately 10 minutes one way, and the cable car can carry up to 2,500 passengers per hour.
Passengers can pay for their ride using an Oyster card, contactless payment card, or by purchasing a single or return ticket at the terminals located at each end of the cable car. The Emirates Air Line also offers private cabin hires, group tickets, and dining experiences, such as the “Sunset Special” and “High Flyer” packages.
